About the Role

AMIGA Montessori Mt Waverley is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic**2IC (Assistant Centre Manager)**to support and inspire our team of educators. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the centre, supporting the Centre Manager, mentoring educators, and maintaining high standards of education, care, and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-recognised equivalent/higher qualification)
• Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid Certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis training
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
• Ability to mentor and lead educators when the Centre Manager is absent
• Confident in managing daily operations, rostering, and family communication
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Montessori qualifications or experience (highly desirable)
