The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Management Team,two exciting leadership opportunitiesare now available atLittle Shining Stars Early Learning Centre. We are seeking an experiencedArea Managerand a dedicatedCentre Directorto join our talented team.
These are separate positions; candidates are asked to clearly indicate in their application whether they are applying for theArea Managerrole or theCentre Directorrole.
The Roles
Area Manager As Area Manager, you will oversee the operational, educational, and compliance standards across multiple centres. You will provide guidance and support to Centre Directors, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and the National Quality Framework.
Centre Director As Centre Director, you will lead one of our services with a hands-on approach. You will be responsible for daily operations, team management, family engagement, and ensuring excellence in practice and compliance within your centre.
Key Responsibilities
Area Manager
Provide leadership and support to Centre Directors and educators.
Drive continuous improvement across services in line with NQS and company philosophy.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
Oversee staffing, budgets, enrolments, and stakeholder relationships.
Mentor and develop leadership capacity within centre teams.
Centre Director
Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre.
Lead, motivate, and mentor educators to deliver quality outcomes for children.
Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Drive enrolments and maintain high occupancy levels.
What We're Looking For
Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with a demonstrated commitment to professional development
Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior leadership or management role within the childcare or education sector
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple childcare centres, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, staff, and the community
Thorough understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements in the early childhood education sector
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Commitment to delivering exceptional educational and care experiences for children
