What You’ll Do as an OSHC Area Manager:
As a School Plus Area Manager, you'll be the centre of influence for a small region, working with up to 10 OSHC services that are diverse in culture, size, context, and growth stage. You’ll bring calm, steady leadership to guide each service to success. Your week will be full of people-first leadership, on-the-ground coaching, and shaping sustainable, high-quality practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor and uplift your teams of People Leaders and Educators
Drive quality improvement across services using the NQF, NQS, and MTOP
Support services through Assessment & Rating—strategically, leading learning
Foster strong relationships with schools and communities
Manage budgets, compliance, and day-to-day operations
Identify strengths and scale them across your region
Develop action plans that spark real impact
Be a culture-builder, coach, and catalyst for change
Travel between sites (vehicle allowance provided) to build trust and deliver hands-on support
About You:
We think you'll thrive if you:
Have solid OSHC leadership experience (Area Manager, Leader role, or similar)
Hold a Diploma (or above) in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
Are deeply familiar with NQF, MTOP, and the Early Years Learning Framework
Are an advocate for children, the safeguarding of children, and value continuous quality improvement.
Can mentor and uplift geographically dispersed teams
Are a calm, clear communicator and strong decision-maker
Thrive on people-first leadership and you are business savvy
Hold a valid WWCC, First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
Have a valid driver's license and love time on the road
