Assistant Coordinator - Out of School Hours Care

Fun Kids is a well established Out of School Hours Care provider. We are expanding and we are looking for a passionate educator to join our friendly team at the following location.

Assistant Coordinator

The Assistant Coordinator role works closely with our busy Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our Out of School Hours Care service on a day to day basis.

The Assistant Coordinator will be trained under the Coordinator for one to two school terms before being promoted to the Coordinator position.

This role is suitable for an educator who has been in the childcare industry for a couple of years and would like to step up to the Assistant Coordinator level with the aim to become a Coordinator.

Job Type

Permanent part time - 38 hours per week (5 mornings and 5 afternoons on the floor plus off the floor administration time) during school terms only.

Skills and Knowledge

Experience within an Out of School Hours Care setting (preferred or experience in a long day care setting);

A positive "can-do" mindset;

Ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with families and children.

Essential Criteria

Must have long term commitment to our centre;

Working with Children Check;

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, Child Protection training (or willing to obtain)
