Casual Early Childhood Teacher
- Salary $44.72 - $51.87 per hour + 25% casual loading + super
- Location: Thomas Carlyle Childrenโs Centre (East Lindfield)

About the role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, youโll play a vital role in shaping the learning journey of our preschool children.
Youโll lead a play-based, inclusive, and engaging curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the community.
Reporting to the Director - Thomas Carlyle Children's Centre, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement high-quality educational programs
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
- Collaborate with a team of passionate educators
- Maintain open communication with families and support childrenโs individual learning and development
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, frameworks, and regulations
Required qualifications, experience & skills:
- Bachelor of Teaching/Education in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- Identify and report children and young people at risk - CHCPRT025
- Current First Aid, Child Protection and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates (HLTAID004) (HLTAID012)
- Current Working with Children clearance number
- Experience working with children aged 0โ5 years
- Experience using the Early Years Learning Framework and current best practice models to plan, implement, and evaluate programs
- A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude with effective conflict resolution abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with families and build strong partnerships
- Supervisory skills and the ability to develop, support, and mentor a team
