Casual Early Years Educator

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Casual Educator to join our early years team, working with children from Pre-Kindy to Prep in a mixed-age Montessori environment.

We are set on the outskirts of Caboolture, surrounded by natural bushlands and wildlife. As part of our close-knit school community, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Montessori-trained teachers and early years educators who are committed to fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your professional knowledge while working in a setting that values respect, care, and the holistic development of every child.What you will have:

-An ACECQA accredited Early Childhood qualification – Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent)

-A sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standard (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG)

-A strong understanding of child development and best practice in early years education

-A genuine interest in Montessori pedagogy – previous Montessori training or experience is highly regarded

-A warm, professional approach with children, families, and colleagues

Role details:

-Casual position, with work available during school terms only

-Hours are within school day times (approx. 8:00am – 3:00pm)

-Flexibility to work across the 4 Pre-Kindy to Prep mixed age classrooms in a Montessori setting
