Centre Cook

Roseberry House Waterford West is seeking a creative and passionate Cook/Chef to join our team and bring delicious, nutritious meals to life for children from babies to kindergarten as well as School Aged-Care.

This is more than just a kitchen role – it’s a chance to make a meaningful impact during the most important years of a child’s development. You’ll have the freedom to create seasonal, inspired menus that excite young taste buds while catering to all dietary needs and allergies with care and attention.

What you’ll be doing

Planning and preparing wholesome meals daily

Designing exciting, child-friendly menus (with room to get creative!)

Managing food safety and hygiene standards

Keeping accurate records and working within a set budget

Ordering fresh ingredients from local suppliers

Ensuring all allergy and dietary requirements are safely met

What we’re looking for

✅ Relevant Food Safety Certificate ✅ First Aid Certificate ✅ Experience cooking in early childhood or similar settings ✅ Strong organisation and time-management skills ✅ Friendly, positive energy and a love for little ones ✅ Willingness to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
