Job Description
Are you a passionate and experienced leader in early childhood education? Our client is launching a brand new, purpose-built childcare centre for 80 children and is seeking a dynamicExperience Directorto lead the way.
About the Role:
As the Experience Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this new centre. You will work closely with the team to ensure a smooth and successful opening, while setting the standard for excellence in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher with proven leadership experience.
Open and Promote the Centre: Assist in launching the centre and building its reputation in the community.
Policy Development: Write and lead the creation and implementation of robust policies and procedures.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain all legal and statutory obligations, ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and staff.
Curriculum Leadership: Develop and implement a vibrant, engaging, and age-appropriate program that reflects the interests and needs of children.
Quality Assurance: Uphold, implement, and regularly review the centreβs philosophy, policies, and procedures. Lead the centre to achieve and maintain high-quality ratings under the National Quality Framework (NQF).
Framework Integration: Embed the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) into curriculum planning and daily practice.
Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with children, families, staff, and the wider community.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Experience in development, program planning and implementing policies.
Understanding of relevant childcare legislation and regulations.
High-level interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in operational, financial, and HR management
Strong leadership, organisational and time management abilities.
Warm, respectful, and professional approach.
Confident in responding to emergencies and managing high-pressure situations.
Comfortable using childcare management software and systems.
