Centre Director - Brand New Childcare Centre (Perth - Central Location)
Are you a passionate early childhood leader ready to make your mark on a brand new centre?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and community-minded centre director to****lead a brand new, locally owned childcare service in Perth. This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-quality learning environment from the ground up, supported by a dedicated leadership and operations team.
About the Role
- Full-time, permanent position
- Salary: $95,000 โ $110,000
- Centre size: 60 licensed places (Currently around 80% occupancy โ opportunity for growth)
- Support structure: Hands-on Area Manager, Operations Manager, and central support team (maintenance, compliance, enrolments, recruitment, onboarding) What Youโll Do
- Lead and inspire a growing team of educators and room leaders
- Drive occupancy through proactive community engagement and relationship building
- Ensure the centre operates in line with the EYLF, NQS, and all regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the serviceโs 2IC/Educational Leader
- Foster a culture of quality, inclusion, and continuous improvement
- Build strong partnerships with families and local community groups
- Focus on educational leadership while administrative support is provided centrally

About You
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Centre Director (or equivalent) in a service of 50+ places
- Relevant Early Childhood qualifications (as per ACECQA requirements)
- Demonstrated commitment to high quality early learning and care
- Approachable, collaborative, and team-focused leadership style
- Confident in engaging with the local community to build relationships and grow enrolments
- Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and the National Quality Framework
