Little Ducks Childcare small privately owned group of Early Childhood Education and Care Services primarily based in inner Brisbane. Our services are leaders in early childhood, working collaboratively with families and the wider community to provide high quality outcomes for children.

Little Ducks has a small centre in the inner suburbs of Brisbane looking for an experiencedCentre Managerto guide and support our team to achieve high quality outcomes.

What you’ll be doing.

Drive team engagement through positive leadership and coaching

Ensure all policies and procedures are in practice across the Centre

Provide regular information about the educational program, as well as the learning and development of individual children to families and management on a regular basis across a variety of means of communication

Guide the Self-Assessment Process and support the development of Quality Improvement Plans

All day to day aspects of administration and operations

Who we are looking for.

Centre Manager experience, within the childcare sector

Passion for Early Childhood Education

Strong commitment to all aspects of Child Safety

A strong leader, who can provide direction, coaching and mentoring

Proven best practice ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training

Experience in Assessment and Rating, including self-assessment and Quality Improvement Plan development

Demonstrated knowledge the service requirements of the CCS system

Thorough knowledge of Early Learning Frameworks such as the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Standards (NQS), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and relevant legislative requirements

Requirements.

Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management

Working with Children Check

Diploma or Early childhood teaching qualification
