Centre Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and fantastic Centre Manager to lead the team at our Early Education service in Toongabbie.

First Steps Learning Academy Toongabbie is a privately owned Long Day Care Centre catering for children 0-5 years. We strive to provide the highest quality care and education for our children. We employ dedicated qualified educators who are committed to further learning and are passionate about teaching and caring for children in their early learning years.

As Centre Manager you will:

• Be empowered to run a smooth and efficient centre operations for all children and their families
• Be passionate about creating strong ties and relationships with families, local schools, businesses and surrounding networks.
• Enjoy building connections with and engaging local communities.
• Coach and guide a team of passionate educators to best practice and oversee and guide the highest quality of classroom curriculum
• You will ensure our Centre is always immaculately presently and that all internal and external play spaces are fresh, age appropriate and safe
• Accountable for key financial metrics including enrolments, occupancy and centre operating expenses.
• You will have a sound working knowledge of relevant industry regulations and legislation, including the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework
• Lead a diverse team of passionate Educators and help make an impact on children and families during the early years

You will hold:

• Prior experience as a Centre Manager
• Minimum Diploma Qualified
• A valid Working with Children Check
• Strong understanding of Regulation/Legislation, plus Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) essential
• Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
• Proven experience managing a child care centre.
• Strong team leadership experience
• Working knowledge of OWNA
