Job Description
**Location:Werribee West Family Centre Position:**Certificate III or Diploma Educator **Award:**VOTTEA award, Level 1.1 - $24.87 per hour or Level 2.1 - $28.01 depending on qualification. **Employment type:**Enjoy a flexible part-time schedule β 17.75 hours per week!**Tuesdays & Thursdays:**8:30 am β 5:00 pm.**One short shift (Monday or Wednesday, negotiable):**10:00 am β 11:45 am
Are you passionate about early childhood education and fostering a supportive learning environment for young minds? Our Werribee West sessional kindergarten is seeking a dedicated Certificate III or Diploma Educator to join our team.

Werribee West Family Centre is in a community hub that was purpose-built for children and families. Within this bustling service, youβll find a secure playground for imaginative outdoor play and three rooms for kindergarten so thereβs plenty of space. Key Responsibilities:
- Interacting with families and children in a nurturing and engaging manner
- Cultivating trusting relationships within the kindergarten community
- Collaborating effectively within a small team of educators
- Valuing and fostering community connections, building partnerships
- Demonstrating adaptability and empathy when working with families from diverse backgrounds
- Be able to support the ECT team with the implementation of the kindergarten program
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working with Children check
- Current National police check or willing to obtain
- Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to engage with diverse families
