Certificate 3 - Early Childhood Educator

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Certificate 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant and inclusive community-based childcare centre in Fitzroy, VIC. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and holistic development.

What you'll be doing

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that support children's physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth 2.

Provide a nurturing, engaging and inclusive environment that allows children to thrive 3.

Observe and document children's progress, identifying their unique needs and interests 4.

Build strong, collaborative relationships with children, families and the broader community 5.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures 6.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre's operations and practices

What we're looking for

1.

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent 2.

Proven experience working as an Early Childhood Educator in a long day care or community-based setting 3.

Strong knowledge of child development, early learning frameworks and best practice in early childhood education 4.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and engage effectively with children, families and colleagues 5.

Passionate about creating a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment for children 6.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative, reflective approach to practice 7.

Valid Working with Children Check 8.

First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification 9.

Food Safety and Child Protection certification
