About Us

Maitland Kids PELC is a well-established early childhood Centre dedicated to providing high-quality care and education to young children. Our services cater to children from 6 weeks old to 6 years old. We are proudly independently owned with over 40 years of experience in the childcare sector. Our commitment to the team, families and community is something we are passionate about.

We are currently seeking experienced Certificate III or Diploma qualified educators to join our team in our well resourced service in the centre of Maitland.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of a high-quality educational program for children

Implement the room’s routine and the Service’s procedures in collaboration with other

educators.

Assess learning and effectively reflect on all aspects of the program cycle

Ensuring families, children, and other educators have a sense of belonging

Develop and implement learning programs based on your knowledge of each child, their interests, and goals using the Early Years Learning Framework

Support the daily routines and activities within the Centre

Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures

Engage in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Valid Working with Children Check

Valid First Aid Certificate

A thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively within a team

A passion for providing high quality childcare and education
