Chef, Diploma Educator and Trainee

**Employment Type:**Full-Time Qualifications:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, with experience in preparing nutritious meals for children; knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations and Certificate 3 or diploma in early childhood education

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (for Educators)

Minimum High School completion with Working with Children Check (for Trainees)

Key Responsibilities:

Chef:

Prepare and deliver nutritious, balanced, and appealing meals for children, considering allergies, dietary requirements, and cultural preferences

Plan menus aligned with early childhood nutrition guidelines

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen environment

Collaborate with educators to support children’s dietary needs and preferences

Experience in a childcare or educational setting is highly regarded

Diploma Educator:

Develop and implement high-quality play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF

Ensure a safe, nurturing environment that supports children’s social and emotional development

Work collaboratively with fellow educators and team leaders

Experience in documentation is preferred

Trainee:

Support educators in daily tasks such as feeding, nappy changing, toileting, and rest time

Interact positively with children to support their emotional and social development

Help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for children
