Childcare Educator Cert III or Diploma Qualified

About the role

Cherry Tree Kindergarten is seeking a full-time Childcare Educator to join our dedicated team in Sutherland, NSW. As an Educator, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners aged 2-5 years.

What you'll be doing

Implementing engaging, play-based educational programs that support the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children

Observing and documenting children's progress, interests and developmental needs

Ensuring a safe, secure and nurturing environment for all children

Building strong relationships with children, families and the wider community

Collaborating with the teaching team to continually improve educational practices

Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Cert III or Diploma trained Educator

Demonstrated experience working as a Childcare Educator in a similar setting

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families

Passion for creating inclusive, play-based learning environments

Adaptable and flexible approach to meeting the diverse needs of young children

Current First Aid and CPR certification

As our service promotes a child safe environment, all applicants must also have a current Working with Children’s Check.
