About the Role
Primarily the Team Coordinator is responsible for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups and provides leadership and development of their team of Children’s Services Educators.
Specifically, the role supports the provision of high-quality childcare by:
Nurturing and providing guidance to children from birth through to school age.
Working with children individually or in groups to support growth and learning.
Implementing activities to assist children to flourish.
Following Centre Policy and approaching behaviour guidance positively with children.
Developing and leading a small team of Educators.

You are an energetic and enthusiastic leader and educator who is passionate about early learning. Your positive attitude and demonstrated ability to support children’s learning will be what help you succeed in this role.
You will have:
A Diploma in Children’s Services.
Current First Aid and CPR qualifications (or willingness to obtain in first 3 months of employment).
Current RRHAN-EC certificate.
Proven ability to interact with children in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner.
Ability to work with other team members in the inclusion, support and care of all children.
Knowledge of current childcare practices and the Early Years Learning Framework.
Experience in programming and implementing activities for children.
Experience interacting with groups of children up to 6 years of age.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Current DHS Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one at your own cost.
Current National Police Check or ability to obtain one at your own cost.
Appropriate skills, knowledge and training in food safety and hygienic handling of food and equipment as required under the Food Safety Legislation 2001.
Additional experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse families will be highly regarded.
