Job Description
Compliance Manager - Part Time (25-30 hours per week)
We are a family operated Childcare Company that operates services across Sydney, NSW. We are looking for anexperienced Compliance Managerto join our friendly team.
As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliant and high-quality education and care across the growing network of centres. This role includes all aspects of childcare operations, including implementing policy into practice, quality audits and ensuring the service operates according to current laws & regulations. You must be a team player with previous experience in a similar role and be able to provide support, coaching and mentoring to the service team on a daily basis.
About the Role:
Conducting regular compliance visits and spot checks across all services.
Monitor and manage risk, regulatory compliance and quality across services
Lead Internal Audits, compliance reviews and quality improvement planning
Identify risks and develop practical strategies to ensure safe, high quality environments
Supporting & Guiding our educators to address all areas of compliance including child safety & wellbeing, WHS, Food Safety, & Emergency Management.
Oversee and assess Educational Program to ensure regulatory and developmental alignment
Training and mentoring to upskill educators and improve outcomes.
Assist in preparing a service for Assessment and Rating
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Committed to self-assurance and Continuous Quality Improvement
Qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care are essential (Diploma minimum, ECT qualified is ideal).
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (ideal not essential)
Detailed working knowledge and application of childcare legislation, regulations and compliance requirements.
Understanding of the Early Years Learning & Development Framework.
Compliance experience and previous Assessment & Rating experience in Childcare.
Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
Strong organisational skills including the ability to time manage, multi-task, prioritise, produce work of high quality and consistently meet deadlines.
Ability to educate team on compliance and practice
Strong Reporting Skills
Experience in mentoring & coaching teams to improve practices & compliance
Strong Coaching & Mentoring Skills to implement and embed policy & Practice.
Knowledge of ISS Support
Requirements
Awareness of changes in Regulations and Developing a plan to implement changes across a network
Valid Working with Childrenβs Check.
Current First Aid/CPR/Asthma/Anaphylaxis certificate
Relevant Qualification in Early Education
