We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our new service at North Parramatta on a part-time basis.

REQUIRED HOURS: 8.00am - 1.00pm, Monday to Friday

Ensure children’s health and wellbeing

Follow a seasonal menu

Ensure best practice food safety and hygienic standards are always upheld.

Good communication and organisational skills

Experience in cooking for childcare centres, specifically Long Day Care (is preferred but not essential)

The position is Permanent Part Time working Monday to Friday; the working hours are between 8.00am-1.00pm each day

High level of cleanliness and hygiene expected

Experience in catering for a wide variety of dietary requirements essential.

Kitchen maintenance and cleaning and fulfilling checklists

Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies

Applicants are required to have a valid Working With Children Check

Applicants are required to have a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

You will be responsible for creating seasonal menus that meet the dietary needs of children at the centre and the preparation of breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack. You will also be responsible for dietary and allergy requirements.
