With 19 purpose-built rooms catering for children from nursery through to Kindergarten, this is a unique opportunity to bring your culinary skills to life in a meaningful way.

As our Centre Chef, you’ll take the lead in our kitchen—designing and preparing wholesome, child-friendly meals that support diverse dietary needs and encourage healthy eating from a young age. Your creativity and care will help nurture a positive food culture in the centre.

What You’ll Do

• Create and deliver nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks aligned with national dietary guidelines.
• Cater for dietary requirements including allergies, intolerances, and cultural needs.
• Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Manage inventory, ordering supplies and reducing food waste.
• Work with educators to support learning themes and special events through food.
• Encourage healthy habits through engaging food experiences for children and families.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience as a chef, ideally in early childhood, schools, or aged care settings.
• Cert III in relevant studies would be desirable
• Strong understanding of child nutrition and meal planning.
• Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills.
• A warm, team-oriented approach and passion for children’s wellbeing.
