Qualifications & experience
minimum 2 years cooking in a childcare centre
Cooking qualification
WWCC
Police Clearance
Food Safety Certification
Tasks & responsibilities
-
To provide a healthy, balanced, varied diet for the children attending the Centre
To meet all requirements and standards indicated in the National Quality Framework
Ensure that a sense of belonging and respect prevails at the center between children, educators and families at all times.
Execute the daily operations of the kitchen to ensure the health and hygiene requirements are met.
Ensure that all relevant Regulations, Legislation, Standards and Industry Awards, Policies and Procedures and Code of Conduct are met on an ongoing basis.
Follow the food safety program to ensure compliance for council requirements.
Follow the menu and recipes from Nourished beginnings ensuring the children are enjoying their meals and all budgets are met.
