Deputy Service Leader Before and After School Care

WE’RE HIRING - Deputy Service Leader – Inner West Part-time | Mornings & afternoons, Monday to Friday | Full days during school holidays

We’re on the lookout for someone steady, kind and ready to take the next step. An exciting opportunity has become available at our Stanmore service location. We are recruiting a**Deputy Service Leader.**You will be supporting a full-time Service Leader who runs the show, but you’ll be right there beside them helping guide the team, support the kids and keep the service running smoothly.

This is a leadership role, but you’re not on your own. You’ll have guidance, structure and the space to grow. If you’ve got experience working with children and you’re ready to step up (or sideways!) into something more stable and fulfilling, we’d love to hear from you.

The role in a nutshell: • Helping run a safe, fun, and well-organised before & after school care program • Providing support to the Service Leader and assuming responsibilities in their absence • Getting to know the kids and families and building strong, warm relationships • Fostering a supportive environment where team members feel confident, valued, and included. • Helping with programming, behaviour support, transitions and routines •Bringing calm, consistency, and reliability to those around you

To get started, you’ll need: • A valid Working With Children Check • Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID012 or HLTAID004) • Certificate III or higher in Children’s Services (or working towards) • Experience working with children in OOSH or early years • Availability Monday–Friday for both morning and afternoon shifts, and full days during holidays
