About the role

We are seeking an experienced early childhood educator to join our team at Five Senses Childcare in Colyton, NSW. This is a part-time role, with the opportunity to work flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. As an early childhood educator, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and enriching learning environment for our children aged 0-5 years.

What you'll be doing

Implementing a play-based curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children

Ensuring a safe, clean and stimulating environment for children to learn and thrive

Building strong relationships with children and their families to support each child's individual needs

Documenting children's learning and development through observations, portfolios and daily reports

Collaborating with the teaching team to continually improve the quality of our early childhood program

What we're looking for

A Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Demonstrated experience working in an early childhood setting, preferably in a long day care or preschool environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families and the teaching team

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences

Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and current best practices in early childhood education

First aid certification and a valid Working with Children Check
