Binningup Occasional Childcare Centre is a small 19 place, not for profit community Early Childhood Centre that is open 4 days per week- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7.30am-5.00pm. We are a mixed age service which allows for children of all ages to play, learn and grow together. We offer flexible working days -our team of Educators currently work between 2-4 days each per week. This offers an exclusive work/home/life balance and promotes a relaxed nurturing environment for Educators and children. We offer discounted childcare for staff and a travel allowance can be negotiated for Educators travelling longer distances.

We are advertising for 2 positions-

Casual Diploma Qualified Educators for relief and leave cover (remainder of 2025)

Permanent Diploma Qualified Educator role for 2026

This is an exciting opportunity to come and do some relief work with us to see if your personal philosophy aligns with our Centres Philosophy before committing to changing jobs or returning to the workforce.

Desired Applicants should:

Have a genuine passion for working in Early Childhood Education and Care

Demonstrate fair leadership and professional guidance to all Educators

Have developed experience and working knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Framework, Laws and Regulations

Demonstrate a positive and professional work ethic and a passion to develop the service to exceed the National Quality Standards.

Demonstrate a nurturing, caring personality

Be able to adhere to centre policies and procedures

Have the ability to support our team to develop and implement a child led program and contribute to the planning and documentation- non-contact time given consistently every week

Ensure positive working relationships are developed and maintained with children, staff, parents and other educators.

Qualifications required:

Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent OR Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)

Working with Children check

Current First Aid certificate - Education and Care specific

Child Protection training
