We are seeking a passionate Diploma Qualified Room Leader to join our team, working part-time, 60 hours per fortnight.

Diploma Qualified Room Leader (Part Time)
Join our vibrant team at Saranna Early Childhood Education and Care Centre (SECECC), where we are dedicated to providing quality care and education to children in a nurturing, supportive environment.
SECECC is a unique service situated on the 32-acre property of the Rick Hammersley Centre Therapeutic Community in Cullacabardee (10 minutes from Ellenbrook). With a qualified team of workers, SECECC encourages every child to grow, learn, and develop at their own pace. Our educational programs provide supportive, active learning through flexible play with a focus on building the strengths of individual children.
The role of Diploma Qualified Room Leader will promote and support the holistic well-being and development of all children. All key responsibilities are based on the National Law and Regulations, the Principles, Practices, and Outcomes detailed in the EYLF, and the NQF Quality Areas, Standards and Elements. You are expected to have a working knowledge of these documents, which should underpin their pedagogy and, together with the Centre philosophy, directly reflect their relationships with children, families, and co-educators. The Room Leader will supervise Early Childhood Educators in the room.
To be appointed / successful in this role, you will require the following key qualifications, skills, and experience:
β’ Child Protection Training.
β’ Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF)
β’ Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
β’ Commitment to continuous improvement.
β’ Excellent time management, communication, and leadership skills, and the ability to reflect on these.
β’ Previous conflict resolution skills and experience.
β’ Current WWC, National Police Clearance, and full work rights to work in Australia.
β’ Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF).
