Early Childhood Educator

Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated casual Early Childhood Educators to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow.

The Early Childhood Educator will work collaboratively with families/carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Responsibilities:

• Implement developmentally appropriate activities and programs for young children

• Create a safe and welcoming environment that promotes learning and exploration

• Actively supervise and engage with children of various ages

• Observe and assess children's development and progress, and communicate with parents and caregivers

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress and development

• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education, as required

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Cert III Early Childhood Education (Completed)

• Experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting

• Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals

• Working with Children Check, first aid, asthma and Anaphylaxis
