Early Childhood Educator- C3 & Diploma

Curious Minds Early Learning Centre is a small, boutique centre located in the heart of Crows Nest. We are currently looking for a positive and enthusiastic assistant educator to join our team.

About the Centre:

Small family-owned centre with 14 children per day.

Warm and welcoming environment for children and educators

Opening hours 7:30 am – 6:00 pm

About the role:

Part-time position (3 days/week, more hours can be negotiated in the future) Opportunity to work closely with children, caring for, nurturing and educating children of all ages from birth to pre-prep. Support daily tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the rooms, including exceptional care and supervision of children, contribute to educational programs, set up and deliver learning experiences, serve and supervise meal times, and perform general housekeeping duties. Build trusting relationships with children and families and confidently communicate with carers. Work in accordance with centre policies & procedures, regulations and legislations. Be a positive advocate for high-quality early childhood education and care.

Applicants will:

Be positive, enthusiastic and motivated

Be a confident communicator and have excellent writing skills

Hold a Diploma or actively working towards qualifications

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications

Current Working With Children Check

Child Protection training

Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and NQS

Confidence using technology (computers, iPads & posting Apps)

Experience working with children is preferred
