About the Roles

As an Early Childhood Educator with Waverley Council, you’ll be part of a dynamic, supportive, and child-focused team that delivershigh-quality education and careto children aged 0–5 years. Our preschool program and early learning curriculum are holistic and support transitions through each stage of development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Supporting inclusive practicesand promoting children’sagency and voice
• Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Frameworkand relevant regulations
• Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and yourteam
• Participating in ongoing reflection, learning, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

Diploma Roles – You’ll need:

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent)

• NSW Working with Children Check

• Current First Aid, CPR & Child Protection certification

• Australian working rights

Cert III Role (Float Educator) – You’ll need:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care

• NSW Working with Children Check

• Current First Aid, CPR & Child Protection certification

• Australian working rights
