CSIROCare Clayton is a not-for-profit childcare centre operating on the site of the CSIRO, and adjacent to Monash University’s Clayton Campus.

Our service is a child safe organisation and we strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures.

About the opportunity

We are looking to employ casual Early Childhood Educators, who will be committed to offering high quality education and care to the children throughout our service.

The centre opening hours are 7:30am-6pm Monday to Friday, and you would be required for any shift between these times, covering permanent staff who are on leave.

Qualifications required are:

Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Working with Children Check

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and EpiPen training

Mandatory Reporting training completed within the last 6 months

Skills required are:

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard

Awareness of child protection law
