Early Childhood Educator Diploma for 2-3 group

The role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator with a Diploma qualification to join our team in Kensington, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and educational programs for our 2-3 year old children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities that align with the Early Years Learning Framework 2.

Observe and document children's progress, adjusting programs to meet their individual needs and interests 3.

Develop positive relationships with children and their families, acting as a supportive resource and communicating regularly 4.

Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that supports children's wellbeing and learning 5.

Work collaboratively with the team members to ensure consistency and excellent service delivery 6.

Comply with all relevant childcare regulations, policies, and procedures

What we're looking for

1.

Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent 2.

Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Early Childhood Educator in a long day care or preschool setting 3.

Strong understanding of child development, pedagogy, and the Early Years Learning Framework 4.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and families 5.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving 6.

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications 7.

Committed to ongoing professional development and a passion for inspiring young minds 8.

Australian work rights are required for this position 9.

Valid Working with Children Check is required at commencement
