About our Service:
Early Childhood Educator - Diploma Qualified (Part-time Position Available)
We are seeking Diploma-qualified educators to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis at Saranna Early Childhood Education and Care Centre (SECECC). As an early Childhood Educator, you will bring experience, energy, and love for early education into a centre where your work makes a real difference by encouraging children to thrive through play-based learning and intentional teaching practices.
SECECC is a unique service situated on the 32-acre property of the Rick Hammersley Centre Therapeutic Community in Cullacabardee (10 minutes from Ellenbrook). With a qualified team of workers, SECECC encourages every child to grow, learn, and develop at their own pace. Our educational programs provide supportive, active learning through flexible play with a focus on building the strengths of individual children.
Each role will work directly with children within a specific age group in collaboration with other educators, children, and their families.
To be appointed / successful in this role you will require the following key qualifications, skills and experience:
• Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), OR be currently working towards the qualification.
• Child Protection Training.
• Current WWC, National Police Clearance, and full work rights to work in Australia.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF).
