About the Role

As the successful candidate, your duties as anEarly Childhood Educatorwill include but not be limited to:

• commitment to on-going implementation of the National Quality agenda, framework and standards
• creating a welcoming environment where all children and families are respected & represented
• collaborating with educators about curriculum decisions in order to ensure meaningful learning experiences
• recognising how diversity contributes to the richness of our society (incl. promoting a greater understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing and being)
• promoting children’s learning through worthwhile and challenging experiences/interactions that foster high level thinking skills.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Full Australian work rights or permanent residency essential
• Previous childcare industry experience essential
• Current Certificate 3 or Diploma (or be studying towards either)
• NSW Working with Children's Check and current Police check
• Current First Aid qualification
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualification
• Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
