Early Childhood Educator - Full Time or Part Time positions

About the role

Neighbourhood ELC is seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educators to join our dedicated team at our new purpose built facility with individual classrooms, and plentiful, generous outdoor play areas in Normanhurst, NSW. We are looking for educators for the day to day running of the room and creating a warm and inviting environment for all children and families.

What you'll be doing

Implementing engaging, age-appropriate learning programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that supports the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to inform curriculum planning

Building strong relationships with families and involving them in their child's learning journey

Collaborating with the teaching team to ensure consistency and continuity of care

Maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to all relevant regulations and policies

What we're looking for

An ACECQA approved Diploma or Certificate III in Children’s Services

Current First Aid certificate, including CPR, and a valid Working with Children Check

Genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young children

Strong supervision skills

Experience as an Early Childhood Educator

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families

Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible care and learning opportunities for children

Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
