We are a loving and supportive family in Toorak with three beautiful children — a 10-week-old baby, a lively 2-year-old boy, and a curious 4-year-old girl. We’re looking for a caring, qualifiedEarly Childhood Educatorto join our household on a casual basis, assisting primarily with our 2-year-old and 4-year-old.

This role is more than just childcare - we’re looking for someone who can bring theirearly childhood expertiseto create fun, engaging, and educational experiences that help our children grow, learn, and thrive.

About the role

Part-time position – a few days a week (including evenings and weekends) with flexibility to plan days in advance

Immediate start available

Primary focus on engaging our 2-year-old and 4-year-old with activities to support their development and education

Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences (arts & crafts, sensory play, music, literacy and numeracy activities, outdoor play, etc.)

Encourage social skills, creativity, and confidence through structured and free play

Assist with daily routines — feeding, changing nappies, toilet training, and general care

Light household tasks related to the children (tidying play areas, helping with meals, etc.)

We’re looking for someone who is:

Qualified inEarly Childhood Education & Care(Certificate III, Diploma, or higher) –essential

Holds acurrent First Aid & CPRqualification –essential

Bonus: Knowledge or studies inchild psychology

Flexible, reliable, and organised

Warm, enthusiastic, and energetic

Confident in creating activities that foster learning through play

Experienced with toddlers and preschool-aged children

Strong communication skills

Requirements:

Working With Children Check

Relevant early childhood qualifications and First Aid/CPR certification
