Qualifications:
Hold, or be working towards, a Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA), or
Hold or be working towards, an ACECQA approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Hold a ACECQA approved Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care
Professional requirements:
An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Proven experience within an early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn and be a part of the team
Ability to actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team
Support a positive culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
A current Working with Children Check
First Aid certificate
About the role:
As an educator you will be responsible to:
Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community
Contribute to the development of an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice
Document childrenβs learning and development
Actively contribute to the implementation and adoption of our curriculum.
You will also share our commitment and passion for bringing learning to life, inspiring the children in our care to reach their full potential.
