About the business

Hunter Early Childhood Centre is a community owned, child safe and not-for-profit organisation providing quality education and care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Supported by the board of directors, HECC works to provide a quality educational long day care and pre-school to families in Newcastle in a safe and secure environment that focuses on family partnerships, child centered practices and overall wellbeing initiatives.

About the role

We are looking for a Diploma trained early childhood educator to come on board to fulfil a maternity leave position beginning in late September

This person will work in collaboration with our supportive team of educators across the centre to support the service and strive for excellence.

Skills and experience

What we are looking for?

-Knowledge of the NQF, and Early Years Learning Framework

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

• Positivity and professionalism

-A verified WWCC

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of highly experienced educators

• An all rounder with the focus on positive child and family relationships

• Flexible and reliable team member
