About the Role

Cherubs Childcare is seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educators to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD. Thispart-timerole is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, guiding their early learning and development while working in a supportive and family-friendly environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

-

Providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children aged 0–5 years

Implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities and programs to support children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development

Documenting children’s progress and collaborating with families to ensure continuity of care

Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations and centre policies

Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities

What We’re Looking For

-

Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently working towards)

Experience working with young children in a childcare or early learning setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Creativity and enthusiasm to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences

Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive care and education

Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Working with Children Check

Trainees are also encouraged to apply – traineeships are available throughKath Dickson, with a trainer visiting monthly
