About the role

Smarttots Early Education Capalaba' is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team in Capalaba, QLD. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational experiences that nurture the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of young children aged 0-5 years. This is a full-time role within our vibrant early learning centre, where you will play a crucial part in shaping the minds of our future leaders.

What you'll be doing Designing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs and activities that align with the Early Years Learning Framework Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor your teaching approach Fostering a caring, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports each child's individual needs and interests Collaborating with parents and families to ensure a seamless transition between home and the centre Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching practice Ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by regulatory authorities

What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent Registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers Minimum 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher in a long day care or preschool setting Strong knowledge of child development and the ability to design engaging, play-based learning experiences Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for early childhood education Current First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection certifications
