Early Childhood Teacher

About the role We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher or working towards to join our supportive and innovative team at Discovery at Play Early Learning Centre Dalyellup. The position requires a talented and motivated leader with a strong background in the delivery of children's educational programs and a passion for working with children, families and community.

Skills and requirements

Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA

Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard

Current Working with Childrens Check

Excellent personal presentation

Ability to demonstrate a competent level of English, both written and spoken

Active TRBWA registration

Flexibility with shift availability

Experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

Create and deliver education program for children aged 3-5 years

Collaborate and inspire educators to achieve high educational practices

Engage and supervise the children at all times

Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families

Comply with National Quality Standards and Discovery at Play ELC policies and procedures

Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
