Early Childhood Teacher (Director)

C & K Karalee Community Kindergarten are on the lookout for an Early Childhood Teacher and Co-Director to join our experienced team on a permanent part time basis. A rare and exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly motivated Early Childhood Teacher and responsibilities and key criteria include:

Experience working with children aged 3–5 years

A nurturing, patient, and caring attitude towards children

Ability to develop and implement a play-based, child-led learning program

Collaborate with our team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families

Build meaningful, trusting and respectful relationships with children and their families

Knowledge of relevant learning frameworks, such as EYLF – Early Years Learning Framework, QKLG - Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, NQF – National Quality Framework)

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent with ACECQA approval

Current Queensland Teachers Registration

A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate

Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is required.

Current Child Protection Training

Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
