About the Role:
Weโre seeking a committedEarly Childhood Teacherto take on the role ofEducational Leader. You will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of our educational programs, mentor educators, and foster a positive, collaborative team culture that prioritises quality outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and ongoing review of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Mentor and support educators to enhance their teaching practice and program delivery.
Build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families, and the community.
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS) and all regulatory requirements.
Promote childrenโs individual learning, wellbeing, and resilience within a safe and stimulating environment.
Maintain thorough observations, documentation, and evaluation of childrenโs development.
Uphold and contribute to continuous improvement of centre philosophy, policies, and procedures.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
ESSENTIAL:Permanent unrestrictedworking rights in Australia
ESSENTIAL:Bachelorโs Degree in Early Childhood Education(or equivalent post-grad ECT qualification, recognised by ACECQA).
ESSENTIAL:Experience in an Educational Leader role(1 year minimum experience preferred).
CurrentNESA accreditation(or willingness to obtain if moving from interstate).
ESSENTIAL: A currentNSW Working with Children Check(WWCC).
ESSENTIAL: CurrentFirst Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management certifications.
ESSENTIAL: A current certificate inCHCPRT025 โ Identify and Report children and young people at risk(or equivalent).
A deep knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and current best practices in early childhood pedagogy.
Strong proven leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative approach.
Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management capabilities.
A genuine passion for fostering curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.
