Early Childhood Teacher/ Qualified Educator

About the role

Radiam Early Learning trading as Sagewood Early Learning is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher/Qualified Educator to join our team at our centre in Canning Vale, Western Australia. This full-time role will see you working with our youngest learners, supporting their development and nurturing their curiosity through play-based education.

What you'll be doing

Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Providing a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment that supports the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children

Building strong relationships with children and their families, working closely with parents to understand and meet the needs of each child

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using these insights to inform future planning

Actively participating in the centre's continuous improvement processes, including staff meetings and professional development

Ensuring compliance with all relevant early childhood education regulations and standards

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification recognised by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) Working towards ECT qualification is suitable.

Diploma Qualified Educator / previous room leader experience

Demonstrated experience as an early childhood educator, with a strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and their families

A passionate, nurturing and creative approach to early childhood education

Commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices in the sector

Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
