Early childhood teacher / Room Leader

The role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher / Room Leader to join our growing team at Sagewood Early Learning in Success, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators in providing high-quality educational programs and care for children aged 3-5 years.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing engaging, play-based learning programs that support children's holistic development

Leading and mentoring a team of educators to deliver exceptional care and learning experiences

Building strong relationships with families and the local community

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards

Promoting a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children

Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification- working towards is suitable due to other ECT in the service.

Extensive experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher/ Room Leader, with a proven track record of leading a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

A deep understanding of early childhood development and best practice teaching methodologies

Knowledge and understanding of Montessori, Reggio and Steiner to support our Philosophy and intentional teaching.

A passion for creating enriching learning environments that foster children's growth and wellbeing

A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
