About the role

We are seeking an outstanding Early Childhood Teacher Superstar to join our dedicated team at Perfect Start Mary Street in Birkdale, QLD. As a part-time contract role, you will play a crucial part in nurturing and guiding our young learners through their early childhood development journey.

What you'll be doing

Delivering engaging and age-appropriate educational programs to children aged 3-5 years

Creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity and a love of learning

Observing and assessing children's progress, and providing individualised support and guidance

Collaborating with parents and caregivers to ensure a seamless transition between home and school

Maintaining detailed records and following all regulatory requirements

Participating in professional development to continuously improve your teaching practice

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification

Demonstrated experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, preferably in a similar setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues

A deep understanding of early childhood development and best-practice teaching methods

Passion for nurturing children's growth and a commitment to their overall wellbeing

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
