Early Childhood Teacher

First Five Early Learning Tarneit is seeking an experienced early childhood teacher familiar with responding to the strengths and needs of a diverse group of children aged 3-5 years.

As an early childhood teacher, play-based learning is your strength. You understand how young children learn through play and your curriculum is responsive to children’s ideas, capabilities, development, and play schemas. Drawing from experience, you can explain and implement varied approaches to inclusion support responsive to individual children's rights to participate fully in the daily program. Your documentation showcases children’s thinking and your own as teacher. Relational ways of working with colleagues, families, and community are foregrounded in your work.

As a teaching professional, you are seeking a stable management team, comprehensive induction program, and ongoing support from a non-contact Educational Leader. You seek access to ongoing professional learning and mentoring and position yourself as a learner, demonstrating responsibility for continuous practice improvement and reflective practice both individually and collaboratively.
