Early Childhood Teacher

**Concordia Lutheran College Kindergarten (Warwick Street Campus)**is a beautiful, community, not-for-profit, 5 day, 2 room kindergarten located on the grounds of Concordia Lutheran College in Toowoomba.

The Service operates Monday to Friday from 7.30am - 5.30pm and is open for 50 weeks of the year, with a two-week closure from mid-December to January each year.

The Kindergarten hosts two Early Education Programs run by a Bachelor qualified teaching team.

The Opportunity

We are seeking afull-time Early Childhood Teacherto join our friendly and dedicated team in 2025.

The permanent full-time position works Monday to Friday from approximately 8:30am to 4.30pm. Alternative working arrangements/hours can be negotiated for the right applicant.

Working Towards ECTS are encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will make a positive difference in the lives of children and families by:

Delivering a high quality, inclusive, approved Kindergarten program;

Ensuring learning and development is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standards and the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines;

Facilitating activities and programs, both indoors and outdoors

Writing observations and analysing the children's progression and development;

Providing children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment;

Developing strong relationships with children and effectively communicating with parents and carers;

Working with a friendly and supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families;

Supporting the Christian ethos and values of the Service.

Successful applicants must have:

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved) for ECT roles

Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Framework and QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

A professional and enthusiastic attitude with a strong work ethic.

Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with families, children and colleagues

Previous experience in early childhood preferable.
