Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Kin Early Education Pty Ltd as an Early Childhood Teacher in Yarra Glen, VIC. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the development and learning of young children in a full-time capacity. Your commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment will be key to your success in this role.

What you'll be doing

Planning and implementing engaging educational programs that cater to the unique needs and interests of each child

Fostering children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth through play-based learning

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to guide curriculum development

Building strong relationships with children and their families to ensure a collaborative approach to learning and development

Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised learning environment

Actively participating in team meetings, training and professional development opportunities

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Current teaching registration or eligibility for registration in the state of Victoria

Demonstrated experience in an early childhood education setting, preferably in a teacher role

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Creativity and a passion for fostering children's learning and development through play-based activities

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a continuous improvement mindset
