Early Childhood Traineeship (Certificate III)

Novaskill, in partnership with Northern Beaches Council, is offering a full-time, paid traineeship at the stunningDee Why Children’s Centre. You will work alongside a passionate team, receive dedicated mentorship and finish with a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

About the Role

As a trainee, you will be welcomed into a supportive team and play a vital role in creating safe, nurturing and fun learning environments for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Supporting play-based learning and group activities

Assisting with children’s routines including hygiene, meals and rest

Build strong relationships with children, families and your team

Learn and apply the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Observing and reflecting on children’s development and learning journeys

A current NSW Working with Children Check

First Aid Certificate (including Asthma & Anaphylaxis) – can be completed after starting
