Job Description
We are expanding our team of professionals and looking for a passionate and dedicated Certificate III Educator (Parttime), ECT Educator (Part time) and Service Cook/Chef to join our dynamic team.
You will be working within a supportive team environment to contribute to the highest level of quality early learning education in an EXCEEDING RATED service.

Service Opening hours 7:30am- 6pm
In the heart of the CBD, which is great for access to transport.
Use of online Communication App for family communications and programming/planning
Monthly paid staff meetings to collaborate and bring team ideas to life
Service has a 2week closure period over the Christmas/December period, for fresh start in new year.
Essential Criteria for all Educator Roles:As a successful applicant you must hold a recognisedDiploma or Certificate IIIqualification. Trainee will be working towards their Certificate III In ECE.
Genuine passion towards Early Childhood Education and providing exceeding care for all children and families.
Strong Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
Experience in delivering high quality early learning programs and observation writing for focus children.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of current Early Childhood theories and practice & Children's service legislation.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively and provide attention to detail in presentation of learning environments.
Dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of all children and knowledgeable on child safe standards.
A valid Working with Children Check.
Approved and current Child Protection training.
Current Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
Key responsibilities for ECT and Cert III Educator:
Build and maintain positive relationships with children and families
Contribute to curriculum planning and implementation of programs for quality child focused observation.
Support team to provide high quality care to children and families.
Create aesthetically pleasing and inviting play spaces for children within indoor and outdoor environments.
Critically reflect on environments, programs, processes to create change where necessary.
Contribute to the service QIP and RAP
Knowledge or experience with managing and assisting additional needs of children is a welcomed bonus.
Assisting with additional needs of children and the care environment.
Key responsibilities for ECT Educator:
Work cohesively with other ECT/Educational Leader to support educators in maintaining and implementing educational program.
Mentor and support educators in their professional development and observation writing.
Support Transition to School Program
Support the orientation of new families and staff
Assist n maintaining service policy and procedure
Parttime work (2 days a week- Thursday and Friday required)
Knowledge or experience with managing and assisting additional needs of children.
Key responsibilities- Cook:
Plan and prepare a variety of healthy balanced meals and snacks in compliance with nutritional guidelines and children's individual dietary requirements
Manage food ordering, inventory and safe food storage to ensure optimal quality and freshness of food and meals.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with Centre Management to develop and maintain the seasonal menus and accommodation of dietary requirements for individual children.
Collaborate with families to support their child's individual dietary needs and any specialised requests for changes in diet.
Creativity and a passion for providing a positive dining experience for young children.
Reflect on menu frequently with staff and make changes where necessary.
Essential Criteria- Cook:
Available to work 5 days (Monday to Friday) from 9am-1pm daily.
A valid Working with Children Check.
Holds a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate: (SITXFSA005 – Use hygiene practices for food safety and SITXFSA006 – Participate in safe food handling practices)or willingness to obtain.
Experience cooking in Early Childhood Services preferred but not necessary.
Strong understanding of food safety, nutrition and dietary requirements for young children.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with Centre staff and management.
