The opportunity

We’re seeking an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead learning in one of our rooms. Whether you’re an experienced ECT or currently working towards your Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (and already hold at least 12 months of centre-based experience), we’d love to meet you.

Hours: Choose full-time (38 hrs) or part-time (3–4 days).

Start: ASAP or by negotiation.

What you’ll be doing

Curriculum & pedagogy – design, deliver and evaluate engaging, play-based programs aligned to the EYLF and the NQS.

Documentation – maintain meaningful observations, learning stories and assessments that showcase every child’s progress.

Family partnerships – build trusting, culturally inclusive relationships and keep families informed.

Team leadership – mentor educators, model best practice, and step in as Responsible Person when required.

Compliance & safety – uphold regulations, WHS, child-safe standards and our centre policies at all times.

What we’re looking for

ACECQA-approved Bachelor of Early Childhood – completed or in progress

Minimum 12 months industry experience in a long day-care service

Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and child-protection requirements

Genuine passion for play-based, inquiry-driven learning and inclusive practice

Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills

Current WWCC, First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain)
